everyone's been fussing about auguste abeliunaite crying on the catwalk for jil sander's fw09rtw show ("cries for your sins"), but i think what we should be looking at is starbucks' guest appearance at the dsquared² show.
have we really come to the point where a paper coffee cup is getting designer status? we see the likes of britney spears and mary-kate walking around with starbucks coffee and suddenly it's a must-have accessory.
now, although i'm totally against this idea, i have to give dean and dan credit for it (assuming it was theirs)... it has people talking, but not only that it's a completely new marketing strategy.
